Hey Terry -- many thanks for organizing the Uke Fest. It was my first ukulele-related event and I had a great time. The teachers were, without exception, excellent, the evening entertainment was just outstanding and, after drooling over all of the beautiful ukes, I got the one Kimo played! Couldn't ask for much more.

What if we organized for the Cougars or flyers an uke night? we could get as many players as possible to play take me out to the ball game for the 7th inning. The best players could play the national anthem. Probably can't happen this year. Couled tie in with Uke Fest

Wow, only a week away!

The excitement is growing as we are making final preparations for the fest. I am looking forward to meeting many of you again, and many for the first time.
I am especially looking forward to the many jam sessions and just hanging out with everyone.

Also, be careful everyone, there will be many incredible ukes for sale. All of us uke players are algebra experts and know the answer to the following equation:

What is the the algebraic equation for the right number of ukuleles to own?

Answer?

X+1, where X = the number of ukuleles you currently owns.

See you all there,

George

Yes, Brad

You won't find a better arrangement of talented ukulele instructors and top-notch performers anywhere, except maybe Hawaii.

Keep strumming, singing and smiling.

I'll be there, Brad. I'm coming in from the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California. As an attendee of 14 ukulele festivals, I can guarantee you'll have the best ukulele time you can imagine. This one is shaping up to be well-organized, informational--and lots of *fun*! Introduce yourself to me when you get there!

Aloha Ralph

Yes, most of us ukeaholics play everyday. We all got to play the sing-a-long music. I have too many ukes to really just talk about. I have controlled my uke collecting addiction for now. But I realize I can fall off the wagon for the right dream uke. We all have our little vices. But I have to share the fever, The love of uke is too good to keep to myself. I can’t let people stay in silence when they are dying to be heard. People got to make music and sing. People need to know that music is fuel for their soul.

Uke music keeps the spirit alive, and makes us all better people.

Keep Strumming, Singing and Smiling,
Terry Truhart
